Yes. Children, whether included on their parents’ or legal guardians’ passport or with individual passports, must apply for a separate e-Visa via the online application system. Please keep in mind that all the information provided must be accurate and correspond to the child’s travel document.
Once the application is complete the e-Visa for Azerbaijan will be processed within 24 hours but in some cases it can take up to three (3) business days. This is why it is essential that the e-Visa be requested at least three (3) working days before departure. Yes. If an applicant wishes to extend his or her stay in Azerbaijan, they must visit the State Migration Service in Azerbaijan to do so. An e-Visa holder is not permitted to prolong their stay without prior permission from the Government of Azerbaijan. Failure to communicate the extension to the proper authorities could result in legal actions under Article 575 of the Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Administrative Offences.
Foreign media correspondents and camera operators may apply for the Azerbaijan e-Visa online only once they have acquired the correct accreditation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Any foreign national participating in journalistic activities without this authorization could be expelled from Azerbaijan if there are unable to present the accreditation and approved e-Visa.
